Good afternoon parents, Welcome to another fantastic week in 4DEL.  I hope those of you that were busy ferrying your cherubs to and from their activities had a moment to have a chat and a warm cuppa whilst doing so...the scheduling Gods smiled on me this weekend with both of my guys playing in Busso requiring 1 car and a chance to watch Tobes before scooting off to play Manager for Ella's hockey team!  Mixed results but tired, happy and grateful kids!! We are so lucky to have the opportunities for sport that we do down here! REMINDERS - WEEK 2  Exercise books - thank you so much for being so on to this! Most students have a full deck of new books and have paid their back...thank you! Absence - a reminder that I will be absent on Monday as I will be up in Perth attending PD. Mrs Dorrington will be in class for me and the kids are so well organised that they can run the class without me! Please also keep Mr Lee in your thoughts as he recovers. He is very much missed

Good evening parents, Welcome back to Term Three! I am looking forward to welcoming the students back into class tomorrow morning. REMINDERS - WEEK 1  Exercise Books - Just a reminder that I have asked everyone to please send in 3 additional exercise books for our use this semester. Our writing, spelling and maths books are full! The old books will be kept in the students drawers for you to look at during our Open Night. If you can please label them with your child's name, I will have new book covers for them to put on. Stationery - A quick check of the pencil case is always appreciated...particularly ask if your child needs glue sticks? These are as rare as hens teeth in 4DEL...I am convinced there is an underground black market trading in these and pencils! Mission Markets  - Our annual OLC Mission Markets-  celebrating Our Lady;s Feast Day- is on this term. We will be celebrating this with mass and our mission markets on Friday 21st August - Week 5. We will b

Good evening parents, I am hoping that this post finds you at home on the couch with your precious Year 4 bundle tucked up in bed...! I am beyond proud of all of our guys today...this is always a day that some love and others not so much, but the effort and perseverance that was shown in pushing through to achieve some personal goals was truly inspirational! Thank you to everyone that was able to make it to watch today, these events are always a lot more fun when there are lots of voices making noise!  Mr Torrese was the lucky duck who got to present our last Star Citizen for this term. This was given out to the student who shows the core value of Appreciation on a consistent basis. I could have given this award to every one of my 4DEL legends because they are an appreciative and thoughtful bunch who are always quick to help out and show an attitude of gratitude. Our recipient this week was Jacob Heitman, a very deserving winner and an outstanding young man!  Well done Jaco
