Home Learning - Week 1 Term 2

Good afternoon parents, Please find below two important documents for our first week of remote learning. Please remember that all learning will be online for the next four weeks and as directed by CEWA, students are to stay home if they are able to.  J ust a quick reminder about our Welcome Back Drive By Tuesday 28th April from 11am...if you have time to pop out and say hi, I would love to see you! Also, if you need to pick up any books or additional paper etc, class will be open on Tuesday afternoon 2 - 3pm...social distancing is still our friend! If you are able to stay within listening distance to our morning check ins, I would appreciate that. It will give you a chance to hear any last minute reminders or comments that I may have about the day. I would also suggest if you haven't already, setting up a space at the kitchen table for your child rather than a space away from the main area...I ended up using tape to mark out an area for us all as some in my house spread

Welcome Back!

Good afternoon parents, Welcome back to Term 2!  As we gather together again as our little 4DEL community I would like to take the time to reflect the difficulty of the last few weeks…I don’t know about you, but it has been hard…personally, professionally and for my family. I have experienced such a wide range of emotions in the last minutes, hours, days and weeks but I have learnt that for me, cleaning and reorganising things really helps! I have not used this time to learn to speak another language, do yoga more consistently, lose 25 kilos, bake more or pick up the knitting needles for the first time in 30 years. I have just tried my best to get through each day…I do not want to look at the screen time averages for my kids’ devices. I fear those tall blue lines will probably tip me over the edge! I hope that however you and your family have spent the last few weeks that it has worked for you. As we commemorated ANZAC Day on Saturday, it was a good reminder that
