Welcome to Week 1, Term 4

Good afternoon parents,

I hope that you have enjoyed a restful break and everyone is feeling recharged and rested, ready for our final term together!

I am looking forward to welcoming the students back into class on Monday and I can't wait to hear about what they have been up to.

I spent the two weeks gaining my Taxi Driver's Accreditation and according to my two main passengers, except for the singing I am a competent taxi driver!

When I wasn't in the car I was enjoying lots of puppy walks and catching up on Netflix...some good stuff at the moment! Very much looking forward to a proper start to Summer...soooooooooo ready to switch out the wardrobe!

A few reminders for the start of the term...

Taste of SMMC - Just a reminder that all Year 4 students will be heading off on Friday to experience some of the delights of SMMC. If your child has not returned their permission slip and you need another copy, please let me know and I will send one home with your child on Monday.

Stationery - If you can please take a moment to remind your child to clean out their pencil cases (these were taken home at the end of last term) and check if they are missing anything.

The hard work continues and students having what they need goes a long well to helping them feel organised and in control.

Perhaps double check the lunch box made it out safely too!

Laptops - Please also remind your child to pop them on charge ready for Monday.

Summer Uniform - Not that it feels like it but we are back in summer uniform as of Monday. There is a two week swap over period so long pants are still welcome as the weather is still cool!

Hats - Please make sure that your child has a hat that stays in their school bag - this was a major issue towards the end of last term and just creates stress for them as they aren't able to go down to the oval, basketball courts or nature playground areas.
