Welcome to Week 3
Good morning parents,
Welcome to Week 3 here in 4DEL. I hope that you enjoyed the beautiful weather over the weekend...it was lovely to feel that true warmth in the sun letting us know that Summer is on the way...another reason why Term 4 is my favourite term!
I unfortunately spent the majority of the weekend in the company of the fine staff at Busselton Hospital after twinging my back on Wednesday. I am so grateful to live close to a hospital like Busselton, the doctors and nurses there are just amazing and I was blown away by the care and compassion that I received. I still need another day to make sure that I am tickety-boo but I am confident that I will be back on deck tomorrow. I just need to be careful...thank goodness for Pilates and heat packs!
I hate missing class as I am a control freak at heart but something that always makes me proud is the feedback that I receive from my relief teachers about how well the students coped, their level of respect and consideration and behaviour is always amazing. I am so proud of the fine young people that your beautiful children are!
REMINDERS - WEEK 3
First Eucharist - Just a reminder that this is fast approaching and for those of you that are focused on the finer details...here they are.
- Clothing - Is to be predominantly white/light coloured clothing please, we are looking for our Sunday best. Think of something that would be worn to a wedding.
- Arrival - Please make sure that you arrive at the Church on Sunday morning by 9.45am at the latest. This allows time for families to be seated, pins to be placed and nerves to be calmed.
- Certificates & Celebration Cakes - We will be having a small family only morning tea at 10am on Friday 13th November if you are able to join us.
- We feel that the ceremony should be completed by 11.30am for those of you looking to make reservations for celebrations afterwards...please bear in mind this is a best estimate only.
HOMEWORK - WEEK 3
- Spelling - LCWC each night and 3 words into sentences. Please make sure you are marking their words each night.
- Tables practice
- Champion Life - a challenge to be completed twice a week.
- Reading - out loud 10-15 minutes each night.
