Week 2 Comin At Ya!
Good afternoon parents,
I hope you enjoyed the sunshine yesterday...we were lucky enough to spend the weekend in Binningup with my best friend and her family and we got to hit the beach and enjoy the freezing cold water. We then went over to the Brunswick Tavern for lunch...soooooo good! Highly recommend it if you're looking for a road trip destination.
A visit to Wellington Dam rounded out the day before heading back to the beach before the weather turned. Many games of Rummy O and Monopoly were played which was super fun...I am super proud but kind of bummed that Ella always seems to win at Monopoly...she is ruthless!
Unfortunately we had to head off a bit early as Tobes picked up a touch of food poisoning which was not the best way to end the weekend...fingers crossed its nothing worse and he starts to feel better soon!
SMMC Excursion - We had a fantastic time visiting SMMC on Friday and your child will have brought home a prospectus for you to peruse. If you did not receive one, please contact Fran at the office and she can organise another copy to be sent home.
The children had a chance to make a pencil holding in Wood with Mr Ferguson before moving off to check out the new kitchen facilities where they made a delicious fruit smoothie.
We then went off to Art with Miss P where we made a key chain using Posca pens...I forget how much I love these!
This was a great opportunity for the kids to try the most fun parts of high school!
Leadership can be shown in many ways and by many different people - can you discuss this with your child this week and identify examples in your TV shows, movies or books where Leadership is shown.
